ALIVE is a culture of coming together in all our humanness

ALIVE began with a longing for spaces where we could meet beyond the surface.

Spaces with room for the whole human experience - for depth and play, vulnerability and celebration, wildness and relaxation. Spaces inviting us to take off some of the masks we wear in everyday life and remember what happens when we truly inhabit our bodies, meet each other with presence and allow ourselves and each other to be moved by life.

What started with one festival has slowly grown into something bigger.

Today, ALIVE is a growing culture and community centred around embodiment, authentic connection and aliveness.

We create festivals, retreats, workshops and gatherings that bring people together through movement, dance, music, breath, touch, relational practices, expression and shared experiences.

ALIVE is an invitation to become more intimate with your own experience - your body, your boundaries, your desires, your creativity, your relationships and your way of being in the world.
And from that place, to meet others

THE HUMANS BEHIND ALIVE

ALIVE was founded by Cherie Ellen & Fie Sommer - two humans brought together by a shared passion for embodiment, human connection, authentic expression and the call to create a community of likeminded people in Denmark.

Cherie Ellen is a certified psychotherapist, facilitator, and co-founder of ALIVE Culture.

With 7+ years of experience working with embodiment, nervous system regulation, and authentic relating, Cherie works with individuals, couples, and groups. She is passionate about creating brave spaces where connection can unfold. Her approach is warm, playful, and curious, making room for both depth and ease.

Alongside her work, Cherie is pursuing a degree at Aarhus University, combining business studies with a minor in Humanistic Organizational Development.

Fie Sommer is a Somatic Therapist, Tantric Sexologist and Embodied Purpose Facilitator.

She has more than 8 years of experience working with groups and 1:1 clients in the fields of embodiment, trauma integration, conscious sexuality and purpose work.
Alongside her client work and group facilitation, she is also part of the teaching team at the 1.5-year Tantric Sexology Embodiment Education.

As a co-founder and creative force of ALIVE Culture, she is devoted to nurturing spaces that invite individuals to truly inhabit their bodies, express authentically and find their place around the collective bonfire - because together, we rise.

IT TAKES A VILLAGE!

ALIVE is created by far more people than the two of us.

Facilitators, musicians, artists, DJs, spaceholders, friends, volunteers, collaborators - and every single person who enters the space and brings themselves to the circle.

ALIVE is something we create together!
